In 1994, Francine Pepitone established Francine Marketing Inc., a promotional products firm, after a 17-year history in the hotel industry.
She was sales manager then director of sales for two Marriott hotels before moving to Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where she was named its Worldwide Sales Manager of the Year.
Francine has been honored with numerous awards by the many boards and professional associations to which she devotes her time. The Association Forum of Chicagoland named her their Associate Member of the Year, and the Chicago Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) not only named her Member of the Year and Supplier of the Year, but she has been installed in their Hall of Fame and she has also been awarded her the very prestigious Kathy Osterman Industry Award. She has achieved the CMM designation, global certification in meeting management through MPI.
Francine is a founding board member of the Professional Convention Management Association Greater Midwest Chapter and received its Richard A. Daignault Award of Excellence. She is the current Chair of the PCMA Achievement Awards and Recognition Committee.
She has been featured in numerous industry publications such as Convene Magazine, Crain’s Chicago Business, the Chicago Tribune and The Counselor Magazine.
